I fell back asleep when she left. When I woke up she was crouched in the middle of the livingroom not moving - not giving me my goodmorning leg rub. As my eyes focus I notice wet spots all over the floor. She has puked 4 times. None were solid, but one spot was a little tan in color. The rest were clear. A few minutes later she puked again.
Now that its been 12 hours she still is vomiting, not moving, hasnt been eating or drinking all day and she mews in a barely audible high pitch or gets that growly meow. Ive put the water right under her nose. I gave her a piece of her favorite meat - ham, she turned away like it was bread or something. I even heated up some chicken broth. But she still wont take it. Shes puked something like 18 times now. Just saliva or stomach acid.
My usual vet is out of town, so I called another one. I told him that Im a first-time cat owner, and that silly is only 5-6 months old. They said that they were closed, and told me that if she is still vomiting by monday (TWO days away!!) to give them a call.
This last time, she vomited, fell over, and stumbled around for a minute. Then went and laid down again. Thats the worst time shes vomited yet. Theres been no blood or diarrhea and hasnt shown any other signs of the flu or anything. Just really depressed, vomiting, and obviously in some kind of pain.
I feel so bad for her.
