Do you know anything about the parents? Their coloration for example? were any of them a point as the "orange" boy?
OK, boy is a point. Im not sure of the color of the point, but its some dark variation Its not red nor creme - which surprises me somewhat.
The gene m ust come from both parents, but they dont need to be points themselves. its enough they are carriers of the point gene. One of them or both are thus non pointed.
Both cant be pointed.
As said, Im a little surprised they have different colors - girl is red tuxedo, boy is darkish. Wait, I know. The dear daddy was the red here. Red colors goes via X-kromosome, so it would be the girl whom got it, not the boy.
If a boy is red, he got it from momma...
So, my guess is, daddy is red, momma is black or grey. One of them has white spots, and at least one of them is a tabby.
The breed? They are shorthaired domestic, DSH.
