Are these a recent changes in your cat's nipples, in the colour or swelling?
Is she spayed and does she go outside?

He had them I am sure since last year when we got him as you can see them but they were not as black. Here is a older picture.
He is a indoor cat.

Ooops, yes, you did say 'his'. If they have been the same since you have had him it may just be what his nipples are like. I would be much more concerned if they were changing. From the older picture you have shared they do look similar as far as I can see.

This month will be there one year check up I will have the vet look at them which is easy as they are visible.
That is definitely the safest thing for your cat. Hopefully they will be happy with everything and agree no change from when they saw him last time. 
He is lucky to live with a human who looks after him well. Give those lovely stripes of his some extra skritches from me.
