3 or 4 ago I asked my vet about her teeth and i send pics also he said she doesn’t need treatment he gv ms toothpaste and he said start this and did it’s 4 I think the plaque or tartar looks less then before should i do something els and how long takes time till go completely and what about her gingivitis that will go too? The redness also looks less then before my cat is completely normal she eats all the time plays with my other cat
It looks like plaque, and maybe it hasn't become hard built on tartar yet. Which, is a good thing. Keep brushing if you can, and monitor. If you find the yellow really going down and the gums aren't swollen or red, then you're doing a good job. I brush my guy's teeth once every two days to every three days and it seems to be doing the job for now. It's a battle each time. My husband holds him down both front and back legs like a skewer, and I get right in there. He's such a good boy. Just complains but never bites lol.
Some cats just get gunk build up more than others. If it's soft, it can be managed by brushing it off gently. Use a soft brush always so as not to irritate the gums and cause more bleeding.
It's great that you went to see your vet though. Monitoring and check ups are the first step.
