Hello everyone,
Although I'm following this forum for a long time, this is my first topic here.
My 1,5 year old British shorthair male cat was sneezing approximately for 3 weeks. He has all the vaccines, he is perfectly healthy otherwise.
He's playing, running, energetic, eating and drinking perfectly normal.
We went to our vet, several times. He thinks he is allergic to something in the house, maybe to house mites. At night, our cat sleeps in bedroom, on the carpet or on our bed generally. And in the morning he sneezes 7-8 times consecutively, and then sometimes no other sneezing during the day, or sometimes 2-3 sneezing.
We do not use any household sprays, scented cleaners, perfume etc, we do not smoke, his litter is also unscented. We clean our house with hepa filter vacuum cleaner once a week, and change bedding once a week. We did not change anything in the house in 3 weeks, or we did not purchase any new furniture etc... I do not know what he may be allergic to and what can I do to make him more comfortable?
Does anyone experience this before? Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks.
