My cat peed on me, and it was my fault (funny post, I promise)

So Chunky is terrified of storms. And I mean terrified. She did okay as she got older with her sister, but then she passed, and it hasn’t been fun. I have that vest thingy for her (brain fog, ugh), but I uh may have forgot to put it on her? In my defense my dad was putting up doorways downstairs and I thought the thunder was him.

it wasn’t long though before I did get the vest of her, give her some water, and let her hide in her closet. Half an hour or so later storm is mostly gone, I noticed she was out so I went to pick her up to comfort her and…she peed on me. I probably deserved that.

(don’t worry, she goes to the vet for her annual in 2 weeks and I’ll watch her litter, but she pees when she gets overly terrified)

Yeah they stopped around the time she peed on me. She was back to harassing people in the bathroom not long after (her fav pastime).

I once had a cat wee on the bedding never understood why that was? although it was years ago now....
