Hey kitty girls (Rupaul reference),
My sweetheart Jiggy is an indoor/outdoor 18 month old cat who doesn't play with any toys and I have purchased 20 different kinds of toys and that's no exaggeration and not one toy interests her. I've tried catnip stuffed toys, lasers, fishing rod and nothing.
As a kitten, she loved playing with paper balls (her absolute fave), toilet paper, beer caps, bobby pins and visitors earrings lol. Now, every few months or so she will rip a toilet roll to shreds and bunny kick it for 5 minutes and then she's over it.
Should I be concerned? Or is she receiving enough stimulation when she goes outside. She free roams from 9am until 6pm. I see her chasing flies and doing random zoomies and God knows what else shes doing but I miss playing with her and bonding. Luckily, she still comes for snuggles at bedtime.
