My Cat Misses My Hosuemate (she's On Vacation)

While i am my cat's primary caretaker, Freya is pretty fond of my housemate who just started a 2 week vacation. She's doing better than last time, but I was wondering if any one has suggestions of things I can do to help her through this period.

I already have high availability to my cat and am being sure to give her more playtime.

What a sweet cat you have. So your cat, Freya, sees everyone in her territory as part of her group.
Your idea of extra playtime is great.

Not sure if you could do this now, since your housemate has already started her vacation, but if you were able to get any of her clothes, that were not washed, and had her scent on them, and if your housemate was okay with it, then placing a sweatshirt, shirt, pajama, etc. out where Freya could sniff it, and lay beside it, or on it, may make Freya more relaxed.

Yeah. she left some on her bed, which has sheets that are due for washing, and her room is open, so that, at least is there to help.
