My Cat Likes Paint... Is She A Weirdo?

I recently made a cat house for my crazy Bengal Tatiana. she has bee. obsessed with the paint brushes ever since. they are wrapped in plastic and she loves playing with them. So I gave her one without paint. nope. she dug through the plastic bag on the shelf to get the two brushes with paint. Fortunately it's acrylic paint, which is water-based, and apparently non-toxic.

Cats are just strange sometimes in what attracts them, but never had one like paint, so I would say, yes, a bit of a weirdo. I wouldn’t allow her to play with it though. Just because the paint says non toxic, that might be the case for people, but wouldn’t take the risk it applies to cats.

I get the brush part, most cats would play with one. But the paint? Could be the scent I guess.

the ones with paint were in Saran Wrap, whereas the one without paint is in the plastic that came with the brush. I wondered if it was the plastic so I wrapped the unpainted brush in Saran Wrap... it's a no go so far lol
