My Cat Is Yowling

My 9 month old cat ,Goda is yowling after meeting my other cat Kudo after coming back from the vet. He had been sent for neutering. He came at 12 in the morning and they had a reunion then but he ignored her then. Suddenly in the evening he starts smelling her butt and she swats him and then they start running around and hitting each other. Then Goda starts yowling . Before getting neutered he used to bite her neck a lot. Currently I have separated them. Can anyone explain this behaviour?

Kudo is still fertile right after neutering, I've heard that this can last for up to six weeks. If Goda hasn't been spayed, I would separate them now. Kudo is exhibiting mating behavior. If Goda has been spayed, I think Kudo's behavior is still that mating drive- fertile males will sometimes try to mate with spayed females, just to go through the motions.
