My Beautiful Rescue Boy... Wondering What Breed(s) He May Be

My big boy is a sweetheart - shy and gentle, happy when you pick him up for pats and will occasionally flake out in the open. Totally floppy when you lift him, and a easy going nature .

He is so handsome! I would describe him as a brown mackeral tabby and white Domestic Longhair. I think he is a nice lookalike to a Norwegian Forest Cat, and especially since you said he is a big boy (NFCs are a giant breed), I think it’s a possibility that he has some Norwegian Forest Cat ancestry.

He's lovely! I would describe him as a brown mackerel tabby and white domestic longhair. Most cats don't have specific breed ancestry.

The Norwegian Forest Cat breed is very rare in the US, and protected by its breeders. Unless you're located in Europe, it's extremely unlikely your cat would have ancestry from that breed. However, we do see lots of beautiful NFC "lookalikes" in the US
