I posted in the daily thread about some small animal being caught by a bird of prey. When Neil came home from work we walked out to the spots I noticed this morning.
The blood had soaked into the snow but he pointed out that it was a bird of prey as you can definately see the wing/feather marks in the snow.
Still don't know what bird it was-we do have great horned owls living down my the creek though and red tailed hawks also (but I haven't seen those for months).
