I just joined...and I love the forum already!
I actually came across this site while looking for reviews on cat products!
I share my home with two cats. One male, named Jack
:, who's a DSH mixed with siamese. He's a flame-point, with huge blue eyes. He's about eight months old now, and I rescued him after finding him dropped off at the end of a street. He has the most loving and unique personality I've ever come across in a cat.
I just recently, (about two days ago), adopted another kitty. I was looking for a playmate for Jack and saw No Name in a shelter. She's a DLH, black fur with chocolate highlights and bright green eyes.
I haven't named her yet, and am not sure if she and Jack are the right mix. She's four years old, and very, very sweet.
I'm also planning to adopt an Abyssinian, as I've wanted one of them for several years now. I'll keep everyone posted on that!
I am a young student who's basically making my way in life on my own and doing fairly well. I've lived around and made a study cats my entire life; I love everything about them. I volunteer at several shelters and am currently taking vet. assistance courses as a back-up career. You could say that animals are a passion for me...and that I'm a bleeding heart, (to an extent), for any creature in need.
Anyway, I can't wait to share and get to know all of you on here!
