I like affordable jewelry, I don't think I would ever spend thousands. I have some cubic zirconia that is beautiful to me. When my brother told me that he spent $15,000 on his wife's wedding ring, all I could think of is how many cats I could save with that money. :dunno:
I've gotten dragged into jewelry stores but neither one of us are the jewelry type.
5 grand on a ring or a tie tack? Nope, keep walking.
5 grand to save a pet? Sure, and here's a tip for the vet.

I love gems and jewelry. I wanted to become a Graduate Gemologist, but I can't justify spending the tuition money. I come from a long line (back to the late 1700's) of jewelers on Mom's side; her mother and step-father were goldsmiths and silversmiths, and made jewelry. They had a shop attached to their house.

My favorite gemstone is chrome diopside. That green suits my red hair and green eyes!

Hey, did anyone watch the Osbourne's when it was a TV show and someone gave Ozzy a cat litter poop scoop that was blinged out with rhinestones?
Am I the only one that things this should be a thing?
