Today's question is inspired by @mickNsnicks2mom's post about dreaming yesterday.
Do you sleepwalk or talk in your sleep?
I do sometimes. I rarely remember it but DH will tell me later. I don't think I have in a while. I do remember waking up to DH asking me what I was doing or what I said because I sat up in bed and started talking. He said sometimes I'd say "nothing" and just lay back down. Other times I'd just stop and lay down without acknowledging him. Most were before we had the girls so long before we had kids. I can't imagine what I had to say like that.
The one time I do remember was at our old house. I remember I was standing at a big green panel with all kinds of knobs, buttons, and dials; like on an old submarine or ship or something along those lines. It was probably something out of my Grandparent's generation based on color and technology.
I was standing there adjusting everything and suddenly my DH says "What are you doing?" and I realized I wasn't in bed; I was standing at the 18" blank space of wall between his dresser and a small shelf we had in there; adjusting imaginary dials.
Twice when I lived at home I woke up to find I'd tried to change my clothing in my sleep. Unsuccessfully.
When I was a kid my Mom found me asleep on the floor in the bathroom and also downstairs on the couch. Thankfully I never got hurt going down the stairs. An old friend of ours was DH's roommate for a while and he used to lock himself in his bedroom because he would wander if he didn't. He did still yank the curtains down off the wall in his sleep though.
