After many years in the countryside on 10 acres, 3 months ago a feral mama turned up with 5 kits, guessing 6 weeks maybe. She was still nursing but they stayed in brushy area on edge of our woods. We put kitty food out. Suddenly she disappeared, gone now 2 month. We now have 5 kits. We have been able to trap 4, amazingly, 4 in one trap, and had them spayed. One left, and I am so afraid of it being female and getting pg. we have put out 3 houses, insulated, with fleece and (straw in one). Hubby just put electric pet heaters in two. They have been using the houses, as at times part of the blanket will be sticking out. I would like to hear best warmers for them. I can sew etc, so would like to hear from experience what is best for winters cold in MI, USA. they are getting used to me, I have been able to pet two of them,

Hi!
The straw is one of the best items to use, as other materials get wet and don't dry. There are experts who will reply soon, thank you for doing this!
