My kittens will be a month old on Saturday, and none of them want to even try to have canned food. Should I be worried, and what can I do to get them to like the canned stuff?
No, you should not be worried. The kittens still need mom's milk at this poimt. The generally start eating soft/hard food around 5-6 weeks of age....maybe 7. My kittens usually start eating hard food around 6 weeks old. Hope this helps!
Nope, they still need not only mom's milk but her comfort. They generally start coming off of mom on their own, because nursing no longer satisfies their growing needs. Don't make them grow up to fast
This is my first litter ever but I have to say that my kittens didn't want mush or canned food at that age. Around 4-1/2 weeks, one started nibbling on the dry food, but now at 7 weeks, two of them love the canned food but the other three only want the dry. (And occasionally they still try to nurse momma).
