I'll be praying she gets through this as easily as possible and as quickly as possible too!
Definately complain, and before she's out of there. They're paid to do their jobs so they better be doing them.Originally Posted by Duchess15
I will probably file a complaint when I get there. If she has to do everything herself while she is there, she doesn't need to be there. What good is a nurse that doesn't do her job?
It was only THAT particular night nurse that was a problem. She would do things for herself, however, she was on a very short IV line and could barely get to the bathroom.Originally Posted by strange_wings

Personally, I'm pretty independent so I wouldn't let any of the nurses help me with much. But that didn't stop them from checking in every hour to hour and a half.
I hope she gets to feeling better and can get out of there soon. It's certainly no fun to have to deal with all that and poor treatment too.
That's great news! I hope she can come home tomorrow.Originally Posted by Duchess15
They have been giving her blood thinners to have the clot dissolve naturally. They are also checking the fluid in her stomach today. Hopefully, she can go home tomorrow.
Her legs are still swollen, but she looks a lot better and she said she slept more last night.
