Please help me. I am embarrassed by what I am about to say but I have an urgent situation.
I found fleas on my two cats yesterday. I had (I thought) some flea medicine (the little Advantage plastic squirt vials). I've used this kind of application several times so I know the method is to squirt the contents of the small plastic vial into and under the hair on the back (nape) of the cat's neck.
I did that to both cats, yesterday.
Today, I noticed that one of them had become a lot more lethargic than usual and was spending most of her time on her cat bed.
It dawned on me that I needed to read the package for indications.
I got the package and discovered that I had used ear mite medicine on the nape of their necks and it was not flea medicine.
Obviously I am very sad and embarrassed but what I need urgently is to be told what to do.
Of course, we washed and washed, with soap and water, as long as we could, the areas on their neck and napes.
What should we do now?
Please distribute this as an urgent appeal for help.
