well, i eat them cause they low in fat, and low in calories, and i am to lazy to cook.Originally Posted by StarryEyedTiGeR
this is interesting. i never eat those t.v. dinners, so i dunno about them. they sound amusing though
they sound like a good idea if you don't cook much.Originally Posted by theimp98

plus there is not much open late at night unless i want fast food. Since i am still working on losing 28 more pounds no fast food allowed
I love snyders pretzelsOriginally Posted by ProudKittieMom
every nite my midnight or late night snack would be snyders nibbler pretzels and if im out of that then I make toast or sometimes both. I am more hungry at night for some reasonso are the kitties...but as i am typing this I am eating my nibblers and then imma make me some toastwhat I am hungry so kill the bag of pretzels and make 4 pieces of toast sounds like a plan
I also have very bad GI problems (everything that comes in goes right back out) and I can usually handle them very well. When I do cook no one else likes it because its usually when Im having a very bad day and cant hold anything down so I make something very bland with no spices or anything in it.Originally Posted by StarryEyedTiGeR

i feel ya! i completely forgot about my new lactose intolerant diet a minute ago when i had the cheese ball with my crackers...i'm sooo not feeling peachy at the momentOriginally Posted by 4crazycats

UH OH! Thats one thing Im not Lactose Intolerant. Ive been on a very boring diet my whole life and once I went out on my own I had a slightly freak out stage were I ate everything. I got down to 90 lbs and was sooo sick. About a year ago I decided hmm eat stuff I can semi handle or eat stuff that makes me barf/have the runs every time. The only things I can eat with no problem most of the time is riceOriginally Posted by StarryEyedTiGeR

Once they figured out what was wrong with me. Not fun for a 5 year old to have to bring rice and chicken to school for lunch.Ive had problems since I was born.
I feel you- the absolute ONLY thing that does not make me ill is the California Kitchen White Pizza (it has light cheese and spinach on it) everything else- you name it, makes me sick as a dog. I justOriginally Posted by 4crazycats

I can't handle much sugar eithor - if i have one doughnut, i'll be sick for several days.Originally Posted by theimp98

Good new is that as he has gotten older(now in his mid 20;s) he has out growen most of the those.
but he still can not handle suger(at lest what we would say is normal suger)
the un processed kind he can deal with.
Sadly Im a bad girl I havnt gone totally back on my diet that I had before I moved in with Stan. I know what makes me the most sick and avoid that. But I want FLAVOR! I really need to get back on it especially with Lava Girl. But its like you said you forget what you should/can eat until its to late and then you regret it later. Im definatly regretting the 1/2 lbs jalapeno burger. I've spent most of my time in the bathroom since I got home.Originally Posted by StarryEyedTiGeR
I'm doing aweful with these new diets.I keep forgetting that i'm not supposed to have certain things, and then i conviently remember when i get sick from it./ I definitely understand having to eat bland food. Right now my diet is a combination of Low Fat, Low Residue, and Lactose Intolerant. I have a good dietician though.
Have you always been that way with sugar? or has that started when the other stuff did?Originally Posted by StarryEyedTiGeR

I've always been that way with sugar. I even remember being a little girl getting sick from foods like that if someone gave it to me...the same goes for cake, pies, things like that as well- i can have a tiny bite...any more and i'm really really ill. Recently though, more foods have started to make me really sick- fruits, wheat, ALL dairy except small amounts of monzerella or provalone (and some other white cheeses- they seem to be easier on my stomach than others). I recently started using Lactaid milk instead of regular milk- and that stuff is awesome. But the problem is - they don't make much for lactose intolerant people as far as cheese, cool whip, things like that go. (Soy makes me sick, so that's not an option eithor.) / And sometimes, reguardless of what i eat...even if it's just baked chicken or plain rice- i'll still get sick. So it stinks trying to eat anything anymore. I have another GI appointment in the morning...so that should be amusing.Originally Posted by theimp98

for my cousin sugar would cause wild mood swings(like a drug)
Try getting some Lactaid Fat Free milk (it's in a purple and white box by the regular milk). It's fat free- and sooooo much better for you than regular milk- it also doesn't cause stomach issues for people with GI issuesOriginally Posted by theimp98
Well i hope they fiq out soon what is causing this or get you a diet that you can live with. with all the rules of stuff you can and cant have i would forget also.
I have stopped buying milk(due to the high amount of fat and calories) I use soy milk now when i have cereal. lol but i dont like the taste of soy.
