So many ppl have links to the Krays!!!
I saw Barbara Windsor on that day as well (cos she went to the funeral) she drove past in this car. It was funny the next day seeing my local town centre on the front of the papers!

Completely going off topic... hehe do you watch Casualty? At lunchtime this guy walked past us:

He was soooooo

Here's a few more:

1. Are you a good cook or baker? If you are, what's your best dish? What's your worst dish?
2. What's been your most embarrassing moment?
3. What's the worst prank/trick you've ever played on someone?

Just a few for now.

1) I am not 100% sure what your question means... but I will try and answer!!
Mum, dad and sister started to call me Gilly when I was younger so it kind of stuck as my name! A lot of friends etc call me it too. I don't have a hubby / boyfriend - just a cat!

2) Yes, I would prefer to be called Gilly. In fact, I sometimes forget that my name is Gillian! hehe

3) I have never visited Mexico, but I am sure if I ever did I would have an excellent time!

4) No
I wish I could speak Spanish though. I only learnt French at school and now I can't even remember that!

5) I have tried some Mexican food but to be honest, I have major food allergies and the last time I ended up in hospital with shock was from Mexican food
I have to keep clear of some spicy stuff just in case it happens again! lol ... but I really like chicken fajitas

6) My aunt has this two person hammock in her garden! I was having great fun lying on it until my cousin came along and knocked me off! pah

7) I do like to drink coffee, not as often as tea though.... In the summer I like an iced coffee from Starbucks or something!

Thank you very much for the lovely questions! See you soon

Congrats on being named Awesomely Cool TCS-er of the Week, Gilly!

I'll start off with some easy ones for you (sorry if some of these have already been asked; I didn't get to read all of the questions yet):
1. If you could only eat ONE type of candy for the rest of your life (and nothing else at all), what would you choose.
2. If you're stranded on a desert island, and could choose one TCS-er, which one would you choose and why?
Your choices are: a)Rigel (CoolCat), b)Fran (fwan) c)Susan (RosieMac) or d)Ryan (HydroAxe)

3. Do you watch Desparate Housewives? If so, who is your favourite character?
4. Do you pronounce "aunt" like "ont" or "ant"?
5. How many cookbooks do you own and do you ever use them.
That's all for now. Again, congrats
Good choice Franny!

1) I only really learnt to cook a year or so ago so atm, I am not that great. There was a time when I used to put a whole garlic in a meal not thinking that a clove of garlic was just one of those little things you pull off and peel!

My best dish is a vegetable pasta bake! I have made a few of these for friends and they all come back for more!
My worst dish would have to be just frying plain old bacon
I always burn it ... which is a shame because every now and then I love a bacon sandwich for breakfast!

2) haha
This would have to be getting on a crowded bus looking for my bus pass in my bag and instead of my bus pass I pulled out a tampon that went flying along the floor of the bus right in front of everyone! OMG, I go all funny just thinking about how embarressing that was! haha

3) There are a few tricks that I have played, the main one was recently. I played a trick on my boss hehe
He had taken about 10 clients to this really posh golf club in the countryside for an overnight stay and round of golf. This club is just so posh, they have rules for everything right down to what colour clothes you wear and stuff.... It takes about 10 years to become a member or something, it is so exclusive.

Anyway, they all stayed up really late in the club house playing snooker and crochet (a lot of guests complained about the noise etc). They all went to bed at about 3am much to this posh golf clubs disgust. All this got back to me, plus my boss had a fight with one of the clients
When he came in the office the next morning I really wound him up. I told him that his golf club had been on the phone and cancelled his membership and that he had to pay £1000 damages! He actually believed me and even got me to draft a letter of apology. After a while, I told him that it was a joke. All the other ppl in the office were let in on it as well so they helped to wind him up! lol

Ta very much for the questions!

1) It would have to be Galaxy Ripple

2) This is a really hard question.... but I actually think that I would choose Fran
She is a similar age to me, has a black cat as well and is a complete nutter! This means that my stay on the desert island would be complete with entertainment as well! hehe

3) Everyone is talking about it but... I confess....I have never watched it
Shock horror call the police!

4) Ant

5) *Opens kitchen cupboard to count* Ohhh I can count! lol
I have 4 cookbooks... I have only ever used one of them and that was because in February my friend came over for Shrove Tuesday for pancakes and I didn't know how to make them!

Merci for the questions!

Gilly that is HILARIOUS that you used to put the whole garlic in!
I can only imagine how that must have tasted!!!

All right here's some more for ya...

1. Describe your ideal significant other. I want lots of physical details!

2. What do you think the ideal way to propose is?
3. Where do you want to be/what do you want to be doing in 10 years?

All right, now hop to it!

Here is the pub (taken this morning as last night it was pouring down with rain so I didn't go out again! lol)
I had to wait about 5 minutes cos all the cars & buses kept on driving by when I was trying to take the pic!

It tasted fine to me, it was only after a few times that I started to wonder why Guinness wouldn't come into the kitchen when I was cooking! My flat must have stunk really bad!

1) Mmm well... I shall have to go on my ex-boyfriend Andrew, cos I tend to be drawn to men who are similar to him
I like them to be taller than I am (I am about 5ft7). I am not too fussed on hair colour, but I really do like short hair on a man! Green eyes would be nice too! A nice athletic build would be good - then he will ideally have good leg muscles
I also like a man to dress smartly for work but then during the weekends nice jeans and a black long sleeve jumper look lush! hehe If we are getting down the the nitty gritty, those tight little boxer shorts (the CK one's) are a nice addition too - pref in white or black but not the grey ones! hehe

2) It has never happened to me and it really is unlikely too...
But, a nice way for someone to propose to me would be on the London Eye Wheel ... hehe they would have to get down on 1 knee and give me a lovely bunch of white roses. Of course, I would have to say yes! Then we would go out to a fab London restaurant like The Ivy to celebrate.

3) Hard question...
In 10 years time I would like to be confident, happy and doing something that I really love! That is all I can really say!

Thank you once again for your questions!

1) I am trying to be healthy today, so I had a bowl of Kellogs Special K

2) 1 hour - sometimes I miss lunch if we are busy, other times when I know that the boss is out too I take 1 and a 1/2 hours hehe

3) Wholemeal

4) This has happend before ... it wasn't nice cos he had stinky breath!
I ran off to the toilet and called my sister on her mobile (she was at the other side of the pub) and told her to come and rescue me just in case he followed me up the stairs to the toilets! hehe. It worked

5) I have not been to Harrods for about 2 years or so now
I don't really get the chance plus it's on the other side of town. The last time I went I insisted on buying a Burberry bag (cos about 2 years ago everyone had them!). I paid something silly like £210 for it
The friend that I was with thought that I was totally mad! I felt so cool carrying my harrods bag home with me that day. We also had lunch in the food hall but could only afford a sandwich and a cup of tea!

Thanks!
