Medicating Your Cat: Remembering That You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know

Vet put the cat on steriods today after 5 days on the pain med onsior. My cat is dying of Feline Oral SCC. At the end of the email she cautioned to not start the steroids until 24 hours after the onsior. A few hours later I found a few other onsior tablets she had prescribed for another cat over a year ago. Had she not cautioned me, I would have been tempted to just use these tablets up and it could have caused a disaster:
