Here is my little Scooter. He's a sealpoint kitty, about a year old. Look at his eyes. The pupils expand and contract appropriately with light but they are round, not slits. Everything I read says that domestic cats are ambush predators with slit pupils and the big cats are active foragers with round pupils. (Scooter also walks and trots with his tail down, like a tiny lion, tho he raises his flag briefly if I speak to him.) So the pupil thing - How common is That? Is he really a one-off?

Well, pupils may appear slit like but also very round in domesticated kitties. A change in light or angel as well as stimulation of the cat can make a lot of difference in the appearance of the pupils as in the following photos. However, I can assure you that your beauty is definitely a one of a kind kitty. Perhaps some lion or Tiger in the heart? 🐅 Gorgeous kitty!

He is a beauty😻 he looks like a bicolor lynx point maybe, are there points on his paws, tail etc.? He looks cross eyed which could also indicate siamese ancestry. As for the pupils domestic cats cat have numerous different confiurations of their pupils including wide open depending on light and their moods / adrenalin etc.

When he was a baby you could tell he was a colorpoint. He was white except for ears and tail. His pupils are always round tho, whether expanded or contracted.

And look here, at the facial proportions. I've got me one!
