Here is my little Scooter. He's a sealpoint kitty, about a year old. Look at his eyes. The pupils expand and contract appropriately with light but they are round, not slits. Everything I read says that domestic cats are ambush predators with slit pupils and the big cats are active foragers with round pupils. (Scooter also walks and trots with his tail down, like a tiny lion, tho he raises his flag briefly if I speak to him.) So the pupil thing - How common is That? Is he really a one-off?
