Thanks, @juleska It has gone well. The new kitty has been running free for over a week now. He is a good influence on my home. He has really inspired my resident cats to finish their food quickly! Usually when the food is served Boris sniffs all the bowls and then looks at me like "Very funny. Now bring the food." He always eats, but he likes to put on an act. Diamond is worse. The new kitty goes hard for the first bowl I put down. It confuses the resident cats and they feel pressured to eat. I have always felt that my cats were a little on the thin side. Maybe they will gain some weight.
