Making A Difference In China

I think I’ve mentioned it on here before, but I’m leaving for China on June 21st! My boyfriend who is from Guiyang has told me many stories about how cats and kittens are not well respected there. I’m looking forward to helping, but since rabies is so prevelant there I was looking for some advice. We are staying with his family and I really want to help as much as I can, but his parents don’t really approve of my love for cats. Not saying they aren’t okay with what I like to do,they just think that one cat is too many. How can I help the cats and kittens there?

I think it's wonderful that you intend to help out homeless and unwanted cats in China.

Maybe the first thing you could do, would be to find other rescue groups in the area and see if you can join them. Good luck.
