Thanks for the warning
Both have been lovely so far... they kept coming on the dinner table, and after 2-3 times of me raising my voice, I put them seperately alone in a room for exactly 5 minutes, no more, no less. They were crying their lungs out.
Kiara got the drill after two times in the room and never again even tried to go on the table, and Sarabi only needed the trip once. So far I am impressed how quick a learner they are - remains to see if it'll be a lesson remembered more than one day, but they seem to HATE being left alone in a room...
Now I feel so terrible because many people are telling me a trio for kitten isn't very good of an idea, simply because one of them is always left out, and that I either should get a fourth or keep it to two. But I've seen Nala so often already, how can I refuse to get her?
I'd get four - kittens are cute, but once I have 4 huge cats that lose their extreme cuteness factor and take all my apartment, I might just about regret it - has anyone here ever regretted getting too many cats?
I mean seriously, between 2 or 4, the increased cost in food per year isn't that bigger, and I use the litter robot anyway, so doesn't matter to me about that either. Only increased cost is at the beginning, with the actual kitten itself if you buy it, or the sterilization at least.
There are worst decisions to be made in life, but I actually think this one's hard
