I adopted my cat Percy from a shelter in 2012 and believe he is a MC but I had recently saw a picture of a NFC and was curious for an opinion!
He is a beautiful kitty, that's for sure. He definitely has the look of a NFC, however unless you have a pedigree (documents showing his lineage) he's considered a domestic long hair.
Less than 2% of cats are considered "pure bred". The rest are considered domestic.
