Maine Coon Growth Rate Question

Heya,

So I read online that Maine Coons CAN continue to grow up to 5 years of age. My Maine Coon is 1 year and 2 weeks old. He weights roughly 16.6 pounds. Realistically I expect MOST growth to happen by year 1. For other Maine Coon owners - how much growth really does happen after the age of 1 through 5? I did get him neutered when he was relatively young - which I read doesn't make a big difference (according to a previous thread).

I am not familiar enough with this breed, but hopefully someone can answer your question.

For the most part after a year they only grow a few more cm longer/taller a year (couple more inches total) but fill out and develop muscle. So for example my boy was around I think 15lb when he was a year, and topped out at around 18lb when he was between 3 and 4. I didn't keep a measurement on him so I can't help there.
