Magpies (and a cat)

We have really friendly magpies where I live; I have one who comes and pecks on the front door to let me know he'd appreciate something to eat.
There hasn't been a meeting of cats and bird as my cats are indoor and the Maggie, although I think he'd quite like an invitation, is not allowed in.
But it obviously can work out!

I have had a family of crows around for years and have regularly given them treats. When Fiona was very elderly and allowed out in the back yard with me accompanying her, a large hawk made an attempt to dive at her. I had turned my back and was in another part of the yard and one of the crows came to warn me.
