That's a great list of foods! I doubt my Hannah will be eating a Porterhouse steak anytime soon, tho!
Hannah and Zoey should have a party... Zoey also loves cheeseOriginally Posted by stephanietx
You want to make sure to get foods that have more lysine than arginine. Hannah LOVES cheese, and most of the cheeses seem to be high in lysine. She's very lactose intolerant when it comes to milks and ice creams, but doesn't have any adverse affects from cheese. As a matter of fact, we give her cheese treats when she has to be medicated and it makes pill time so much easier.
yeah dairy cow steaks are well not what most would want to eat but I am sure the kitties love themOriginally Posted by furryfriends50
Mine love goat milk yogurt, they only get some every two weeks however.
Mine get steaks etc all the time because they are raw fed. Since I started raw Jack and Jill's eyes have been much better looking.
Most of the steaks though are from dairy cows which are not that great of meat. Its somewhat stringy...dairy cows are not meant to make good meat but are meant for milk
However my family has lots of that in the freezer from when we were still farming. Once a year we would butcher a few cows that weren't producing much milk. The meat got split between my dad and his brothers/sisters as they all ran the farm.
The higher on the list the better... Herpes kitties should avoid items on the bottom of the list, i.e. grains...Originally Posted by Misty8723
So do you mean cats should not eat anything on that list? I'm a little confused.
