there are several things that match what you are feeling,
as everyone has said, Doctor time.
as everyone has said, Doctor time.
That is exactly what I was going to say! Since none of us know your history and no ethical doctor would diagnose over the internet, your best bet is to get to the doc. I really hope that you feel betterOriginally Posted by clixpix
Nobody is going to accurately diagnose you over the internet...you need to see a doctor! If there is truly something wrong, the worse thing you can do is delay treatment.
My brother had appendicitis, not much pain just a dull ache on his left side, but when they decided to operate they were so shocked because it was starting to leak (very bad) and he was in not much pain at all!!!Originally Posted by kluchetta
Could be tubal pregnancy, ovarian cysts, or (this is a long shot here...) appendicitis - some people have it on the left instead of the right. Pain there could also be due to colon problems like diverticulitis. Probably best to get it checked out.
Please go to the doctor. I am not sure if this is a possible scenario for you but I will share my story.Originally Posted by NoRachelHere
So for the past three or four days I have had relatively bad abdominal pain on my lower left. . . .
It hurts to walk (esp if my bladder is full) and it hurts to "try" to go to the bathroom. Not like pulled muscle ache, but pain. . .
Anyone have any suggestions?
I would say if you still have pain to go to the doctor anyway. Like I posted, I had pain in my left side like you were describing (only mine was SEVERE) and after I went to the er it seemed to go away but I was in shock because I was having an ectopic pregnancy and my tube had burst (while I was at the hospital) and I was hemoraging inside.Originally Posted by NoRachelHere
It seems to be a little better today. . .SO I am not too worried. .. Any worse and I will be doctor bound. . .
One of the things that we are taught in nursing school ( at least the one I went to), is that with something like appendicitis, we do not give pain medications (unless the docs know what they are going to do). Giving pain medications and relieving the pain can actually mask when an appendix bursts. Usually with something like that you will have pain and then it will disapear or lessen-- your appendix has burst at this point and you don't have all that pressure anymore, but of course you are inserious danger. Go to the Doctor!Originally Posted by NoRachelHere
