Can anyone recommend one?

I found one on Amazon that is popular but the width is only 12.75".

Plastic boxes are 15" but even those are a little too small.

Does it have to be metal? I tried Googling, but couldn't find anything. I use Jumbo/Giant size plastic litter boxes. My favorites right now are Van Ness and Petmate high sided ones.

Yeah I really want metal. I try to avoid plastic since it's linked to cancer.

Here's the pan:
I'm just gonna get it if I can't find another.

PS: You should avoid Microban/Triclosan in litter boxes. I read an article a while back about how it made fishes swim slower. Something to do w/ muscles. I know Petmate has it in their xl box.

You might want to look at party ice buckets or some of the galvanized feed containers at a farm store like Tractor Supply.

The sides may be taller than you'd like. Set up a step stool?

This one at Tractor Supply is 17" diameter and only 8" high. It says leak resistant...I do think they rust/leak over time, but if you kept clumping cat litter deep enough so that the urine balls up before reaching the bottom, it should last a long time.

That's a great idea. Maybe I'll try it if the other pan starts to rust.

I'm planning on using Pretty Litter. It changes color to indicate health issues if you're not familiar...

Read some of the reviews here....some people had really bad experiences with the Pretty Litter company. No problem with the litter itself, but the company not being responsive upon cancellation and continuing to rack up auto-pay charges.

There's a thread here somewhere about it.

This buffet pan is stainless steel, 13.00 x 21.00 x 2.75 Inches. May be a little shallow, but buffet pans at restaurant supplies may have a perfect size.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I read the thread & I'm going to hold off on Pretty Litter for now. Since it's expensive & dusty!

I'll probably try it sometime in the future...

Right now I use Blue Buffalo 'Naturally Fresh' & I LOVE it!!

Yeah, I was going to recommend a commercial kitchen supply store. They'll probably have all sizes of metal pans.
