These are not my greatest pictures by a long shot - My new friend never stops moving!! I'm trying to decide if he's going to have longer fur when he grows up or if it's just the baby fuzzies. I can't imagine him being fluffy, but maybe on the longer side? What he has right now is quite thick!

I also can't tell through the fuzz - He's a standard mackerel tabby, right?

I know absolutely nothing about his parents. He was a lonesome surprise that fell down our chimney on Monday.

Update for curiosity's sake, he is definitely shorthair! I already miss his baby mohawk.

I do not know what pattern he is though. Mackerel? He is such a lovely little Standard Issue Cat.

Yeah, on the right side is broken mackerel, and some could surely be talked into to tell he is a spotted tabby cat. Not Show grade, but spotted.
But on the left side its loud and clear, mackerel. Or as its in other languages; striped or tigrered.
And thus, the verdict will be, broken mackerel.
A sweetie!
