My cat Loki has passed away. If you have outside cat, put them up during the night. I always do that. I put mine away into a dog kennel every night. Only because the predators this year are very bad. I wasnt able to get Loki put up, usually he sleeps on the porch, but I guess he wanted to do something and went off for the first time in two years. That was in December, I live on 50 acres of land and I couldn't find him. February 12th I found his body. He had dragged himself away from his attacker, which we had figured was a coyote as we had seen 3 of them earlier that month. It most likely was the 2 young ones we saw.
Don't let your cats stay out at night, I don't want others to go through that.
Ghey weren't into eating him... they just wanted to play... his back legs were gone (I found them farther away from his body), his tummy was sliced open, and half his face was gone. I could see the shuffle marks on thd ground where he was trying to drag himself to the house. He had almost made it.
