Littr Box Questions

1.) What type of litter do you use? I use Oz Pet litter, which is made from wood pellets.

2.) Which box do you use? Oz Pet sieve trays, made for using with Oz Pet litter

3.) Where do you keep your box? Laundry, lounge room and nursery

4.) How often do you scoop? At least 3 times a day. In the morning, after work and before bed.

For my 9 week old kitten, we use Feline Pine (original) litter. We come to this decision after loads of research and a recommendation by our vet. A lot of litters on the market contain sodium benonite/carcinogens, which can be harmful to both animals and people (and as someone with asthma, this was critical). The litter previous to Feline Pine we had actually had a warning sign on the label to not use it with kittens. Glad I didn't have it long.

Our baby just uses a basic litter pan, nothing fancy. Litter doesn't get everywhere since it is pellets, so no need for anything fancy.

Her pan is in the bedroom -- it's a good set up for her, despite it sounding kind of odd.

It is cleaned 2-3 x a day.
