my cats are both around 2.5yrs old, one (I think the problem cat) will be 3 in July. A few days ago my sons room smelled like poop. After searching I found cat poop in his Lego tote.
They already can't be trusted unsupervised becasue they eat plants and knock them down and they have even gotten behind my tv and pushed it over, so at night they sleep in the extra bed room. I went in today and there is poop on the top of the litter box wall (it's the breeze system, so it's a box with high walls with a little edge) and poop on the floor.
I haven't changed litters in over a year, I scoop daily, and change the pee pad out once or twice a week depending on when it's needed.
Why is he all the sudden pooping in inappropriate places!?
