My male cat, Jethro, always pees high and it leaks through the back seam of the covered litter box. I have been surfing Amazon looking for a replacement box that would help with this problem, within my price range. I have 3 cats so I will have to get 2 boxes. Does anybody know of a good reasonably priced litter box that won't leak out the back?

Some people have solved the same issue by modifying a large, tall storage container into a litter box.

I use a top entry litter box, but a regular storage bin without the top would work just as well.

If you cut an entry into a bin, be sure to cut it on the long side, as shown. That way, your cat's face will be almost against the side of the bin, and he will automatically turn, with his...um...business end NOT facing the entry!
