We got a kitten, and he wrestles with my 4 year old cat a lot. Well, he keeps either biting or clawing my 4 year old cats lip/gums. His lip gets all puffy and looks infected. I keep putting stuff on the inside of his lip/gum, but just as it is getting better, they wrestle again and he gets a new injury. The stuff I am putting is helping to an extent, but I am afraid that I won't be able to get control of it and the infection will go septic or something. Is there anything natural I can give him internally, that will help ward off infections? Also, I am concerned because we are leaving in a week, for a week vacation, and I can't expect someone to come here and put something on his gums 3 times per day. Any suggestions for warding off infections?
