I have a 9 week old kitten named Kevin, who suddenly started limping today when I returned home from work. He had his first vaccinations on Saturday morning, and upon doing some research on here I see that this could be the culprit? From what I've read, it usually doesn't occur until about a week or more after vaccination. Today will only be day 2!! The day of vaccination he was lazy and sleepy, but still eating lots and playing lightly, by the next day (yesterday) he was a little sleepy during the early part of the day but by night he was back to normal (playing like a crazy boy!). This morning before work he was perfectly fine, playing and meowing for attention. Now I'm worried! It pains me to see him this way, he hasn't left his little bed except for a very short little walk to his food which he let out little cries on the way. He's still eating which definitely is a relief, and still wants to play & purr like crazy but without getting up :lol3:
Could this be a result of the vaccine? I apologize if this has been asked a million times but as fellow cat parents I'm sure u all understand the paranoia when you see your little baby this way thanks ahead for any insight!!
