So far, so good. She definitely has an appetite! On top of her tin of wet food each day, she's eating her grain-free kibble, which is left out for her around the clock. I'm actually considering upping the amount of wet food..she's definitely happiest with that.
Her belly continues to grow. *smiles* She was in my room earlier, so I reached down to say hello and her babies are VERY active. Even in dim light, I could see the movements and it felt like they were having quite the little party in there. lol
I've taken to monitoring her temperature every morning, under her front leg. Three days so far and a consistent 38.2 Celsius each day.
She's not looking for any nesting spots, but does like the bed I put together in my wardrobe for her, as well as the box she has by my bedroom door. She also likes the upper bunk in the bedroom two of my boys share. She meows, he gets up and lets her climb up him to get in and then to get out in the morning. He's almost 11 and quite enamoured with her. He knows enough not to bother her and I think she really appreciates that with him.
Beyond that..I've noticed one peculiar habit she has. If she's in front of a window, she'll claw at it. It reminds me of a vertical version of digging in a litter box. I'm open to ideas on why she's doing this. It's not about seeing birds, as she does this at windows where birds aren't usually visible..and she does it during the night, too.
