If it is brown, I would go right into a Vet. One time, my guys eye started tearing clear. I waited a couple of days and then I got concerned. I was gently pushed by a member on here to see a Vet. Turned out that he had a corneal abrasion!! I found out those things can go bad very fast! Thankfully it was an small one which was easy to treat. Please take your cat to the Vet... When it comes to eyes, do not fool around at home. Vision loss can happen very fast, You do not want your cat to become blind in one eye.
