Marlow, our former feral who moved indoors on Halloween, is making himself right at home. He roams the whole house now. He calls us when he wants to go out and calls to be let back in. The last two nights have been cold and wet and he didn't ask to go out. I think when the weather finally turns all cold he'll decide to be an indoors only cat. This can't come soon enough for my wife Becky.
He plays a little now with some of the toys we have. He becomes interested when he sees our other former feral kitten, Sasha, playing. Of course when Marlow walks up Sasha quits playing and watches Marlow. The only interactions the two seem to have is when one pounces on the other and sets off a wild chase through the house. Marlow quickly tires of this and calls a ceasefire. At first I thought it was all Sasha pestering Marlow but then I saw Marlow start it
.
Marlow let me pet him yesterday without the benefit of a food offering. Boy he's come a long way.
Below: Marlow taking it easy.
