Licking Then Biting

My older cat will do this thing where she'll lick my hand a little bit and then all the sudden bite my hand and shake her head, sorta like ripping. Is this affectionate or is she actually like mad or aggressive?

She's affectionate, but over-amping just a little. Cat's are wee energy-sponges, and can over-amp very quickly. My Hekitty will insist on being patted, then clamp her teeth into my hand almost immediately. Just gently remove your hand, and give her some space. She isn't mad, it's just too much of a good thing.
