Thanks guys!  I will tell her you said so, although she already  knows

.  We found her as a pregnant stray, half starved to death, with this big preggo belly.  She was so sweet from the very begining, that we figure she was abandoned.  I dont know how someone could give her up though.  Blows my mind what some people do.  I think it was fate though.  My cat of 19 years had passed away 2 years before, and she had extra toes too.  Cricket adjusted to my busy house very well.  She had her 7 babies, and we kept 2.  From an all dog house to 3 cats was quite an adjustment in a short period of time.  She is certainly a joy, and so are her babies!

Yes.  She is a polydactal.  Two of her kittens were also.  Funny feet.  I love them!

Binky, a former feral who has been living inside exclusively with us since 3 days ago (she was VERY tame so there's been no issues with being scared, etc. She'd been in and out of the house several times but this time she got the point that we're having her stay.)



Binky and her son Cookie (unfortunately we were unable to get her spayed before she had a kitten, and I personally have a problem with spaying during pregnancy. We are planning on getting her spayed soon though. Cookie is five weeks old.)

Since you chose to share this in public, I'll add my 2 cents in here too

I do appreciate the feedback and idea for theme for a contest. As I explained in my PM to you, our contests are scheduled in advance as part of our overall annual content plan. I definitely take into account feedback from users and will consider running contests based on cat coat/patterns in the future. However, if and when we run these, they will be managed by a site team member (due to a  variety of legal implications here). Should you or any other site member choose to donate prizes, as you so generously suggested to do, you're more than welcome to do so and we can discuss the details privately.

I really appreciate your enthusiasm, but please keep in mind that running a site as large as TCS, which I've been doing for the past 12 years, involves many considerations which I don't always bring forward. I am committed to running contests responsibly and that means we don't allow members to run their own contests.
