Lentil Grass/sprouts Safe?

Hi all!

Is it safe for my kitty to eat lentil grass/sprouts? Cannot find wheatgrass here so decided to grow lentil grass instead and it seems my kitty is addicted to it. She enjoys nibbling on it and screams the place down when I take it away from her. However I have read some things online about bacteria in the sprouts etc so just wondering if anyone else has experience with this?

Can you get barley or oat or rye grass? Those are also safe for cats to eat.

Oh really, ok I will try. I'm based in Qatar so sometimes things are more difficult to find here! Thanks I will have a look for them!
