L Lysine Plus

Is L-lysine + okay to give my cat? She has ulcers in her mouth. My veterinarian said liquid was best because she could swallow it. I ordered some online, but I noticed it contained other ingredients such as Echinacea, shitake mushrooms, Propolis, Gum Benzoine, licorice root, Goldenseal leaf, and Alcohol.

I wouldn't give her anything that has alcohol in it. She can eat, can't she? Most people mix the powder with their food
