My cat who is 4 years old, has for the 2nd year in a row has been getting harvest mites. They are especially bad this year and are eating him up alive. We have tried topical treatment given to us by our vet and have tried powders but seems these are not working anymore and my poor cat is miserable and going bald from itching so much. Anyone have any other idea's on what to try? Thanks for your help

Your poor kitty! Are the miticides working at all? Does he have a lot of mites? Some cats are allergic to the mites, so even small numbers will cause a lot of itching. That needs to be treated with steroids.
