Kitty Sniffing My Hairline???

Hey all! Not a concern or an issue, just a little quirk I've noticed my Lizzie doing and I wonder if anybody else's kitty does this too. Lately I've noticed that when I come home, Lizzie will greet me by doing two things. First, she touches her nose to mine, which I know is how cats sometimes greet each other. So she's like 'Hey mom.' Then she does her weird thing, which is she takes a little time to sniff at my hairline. Sometimes it sounds like she does a little lick, but I don't feel one. Every day when I come home and only then. Anybody else? Even if she's a super weirdo I'll still love her :-)...

She's probably smelling your pheromones. Just like cats us humans have pheromones that tell others about us, however we through evolution have a limited sense of smell.

The pheromones are strongest in our scalp armpits and feet.

Just be glad she only sniffs hair. My cat has phases where she eats my hair.

It results in little poo nunchakus in the litter box.
