Hello,
I just recently adopted my kitten Marlee. Since I got her from a shelter, she was spayed before I picked her up. I noticed she had fleas the day I got her, so got some Advantage and used a flea comb to get as many fleas and flea dirt off as I could. I've been wanting to give her a bath ever since I got her, but am having to wait til the end of the week when she gets her stitches out. I was just looking for some tips! Right now she is pretty stinky b/c shes been having a little bit of diarrhea, and has a tendency to step in it while shes covering it up. I've been trying to use just warm water on a washcloth to get her feet cleaned up, but the stink is still there a little. I know its not her fault, poor baby. Once her stitches are out, is there any shampoos there are better to use, or should I just use warm water and a cloth like i've been doing? Also, will the Advantage keep working after being bathed, or will I need to redo her dose after the bath? Thanks, like I've said before, this site is a godsend!
