kitty keeps falling over...

I bought my 6 month old kitten a little harness to go outside on a leash, and every time I put it on him he tries to bite it but he also wobbles and falls over. I checked to make sure it wasn't too tight, of course. He just has no balance with the harness on.. What's up?

That's actually hilarious.

Nothing wrong, it means he is so not used to the feeling that he just gets all messed up.

Have you ever seen any of those video clips of when people put a leash on a cat? They usually just go limp and fall over

Slowly get him used to the feel of it by taking it off, later putting it on again for maybe 10 minutes, and so on.

Ok, that's good, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't hurting him or anything. Its is actually pretty funny, he just wobbles back n forth n flops over to start gnawing at the harness. Thanks for the advice.
